Yep it is really cold, below zero windchill and 7 degrees without. Most of the snow hit in the snow belt which is east of us.

Up here in Michigan we got about an inch and a half. Temperatures have been below 0 with the windchill. No more luck on deer. I'm tagged out in Ohio, season in Michigan is closed. Still working on finding a spot to hunt in Michigan, probably going to have to hunt public land close to home until I can afford a lease. Shoot some does here and hunt for the big boys in Ohio. Worst part is I'm going to be paying out of state fees in Ohio now.

0 that's cold.
At least Ohio does not charge like Texas $315 for non-res hunting.

Weather is so weird now a days.....next week rain and in the 50's. Yes we are done for this season, we can buy more doe tags and keep bow hunting until first week of Feb, but I have always taught Billy since starting to hunt at age 4 that you only kill what you will eat, no waste. I only shot the 1 buck, it's just me and my wife at home, my middle daughter is staying with us but she will not eat it. Billy shot 2, but he has wife and 3 children to feed. We love to hunt and would do it every day, but our morels stop us after we have enough to feed family until next season.

I am with you on that I only kill what I can eat with the exception of hogs they are a problem around here. I did not even get a deer this year, have a friend that had extra tags on the ranch where he hunts and he brought me a deer going to make sausage this weekend.
