i knew that thier was sombody that gets to go shoot at these things, maybe this year i can find a place to go.

my area in wyoming opens every 1st saturday in november, .....simple yet effective :lol:

FYI - all, There are several new places in Floyd Co this year on the Type II program and probably 12 - 15 public leases and WMA's total in the panhandle that claim to have pheasant.

I also talked to a guy at West Krum on Sunday afternoon who said that he hunts them on the west side of Matador. Probably in the 4 wheel drive only area. BTW, they mean it - especially when it's wet.

my next days off, and im home for opening weekend of pheasant season, guns ready, worked out max, he did excellant, talked to my buddy from there who i hunt with, he reports that he has been seeing thousands of birds, claims there must of been three hatches this year....woot im ready

had one of the best ever opening weekends, sure wished you all were here to go too.....8 birds in two and a third days....including a dream double, too fun to put into words, i pitty those who dont have pheasants to hunt :wink:
