Texas bow season

Postby JIM » Fri Aug 12, 2011 7:26 pm

Bow season starts Oct 1st but it is hard to get excited about hunting with the hot weather and drought we are experiencing, but I can see deer all the time the they are hunting hard for food day and night. The water supply company had a water leak on one of my places for about a week and 4 bucks were drinking there in the evenings and to my surprise one is pretty good.

Right now we are set to break a record of number of consecutive days over 100 and most days in a single year over 100.

I'm the opposite. i don't really like the heat at all. I love fall and winter. It went over 100 the first whole week I was at my annuakl training in michigan and it sucked wearing full body armor and training. I'm not a fan of heat.
