army worms

Postby JIM » Mon Oct 19, 2009 12:38 pm

Finally made it back hunting Saturday evening just to find my oat patch ate by army worms nothing left but dirt now and the acorns have fallen so the deer are not even interested in corn right now. Did see a few deer 300 yards off and 1 turkey.

No Jim, we replanted everything up here at the house. Everything at the river is a loss though. Got some coming back up here but it sure is slow, this warmer weather might help it a bit but with all the acorns its almost a mute point anyway.
That liquid 7 did the trick though, if any of ya havent tried it. They claim its good for 21 days rain or shine and we got some heavy rain about 2 days after I sprayed and it still kept em in check.
