New Feral Hogs rules.

Postby texastrophies » Sat Jun 07, 2008 11:36 am

Here is a link to new rules being introduced concerning feral hogs. I read through most of it, and it appears to mainly apply to the trapping, movement and holding of live hogs. But it also sounds like to me, that seasons, limits and licenses are not to far in the future.

Like always, it comes down to $$$$$$$$$$

TT, I think youre spot on about the $$$$$$. Back when we first heard rumblings of all this, there are a few folks behind this whole heartedly. They just also happened to be the only legal processing stations at the time under these new guidlines. Things that make you go hmmmm.

I'm with ds, we cant keep up now much less if we start putting season and bag limits.
If you aint havin fun...........quit doin it!!!!!

I think we all new that it was just a matter of time before the state got around to looking at having a season or seasons for hogs.

Any way they can generate money for the state...

Also lets see how fast they back out of it when there will be such a out cry of land owners and ranchers pleading to the state to do something about the over population of hogs...

Not that they don't here it now..It will get worse I'm afraid..
