Ever want to know if a rub is active or being used? Take along a carpenters pencil and mark the tree where the bark is rubbed off with a line from your pencil. When you return to the woods see if any of the pencil line is rubbed off.

I have never thought of that... There is a rub that has been in use around my stand for the last 4 years.. But never known when they stop using it..
