I was going down this weekend to pick some stuff up and plant sunflower for Dove hunting in Sept. Could not find any seed local that wasn't $200 + a 50lb Bag...

April 21-22

Finally got down to plant my Black Peredovik...The ground was still damp from the last rain a week ago..If this comes up it should be a good Dove season..

Image

The food plot at the back seems to be doing OK...The winter Oats are still there..Looks like the Clover is doing OK as well..

Opening weekend for Bow...Its finally here...

In the woods by 5:45 this morning, no wind, everything is calm. Not sure if any deer will be moving do to the full moon we had last night...Wind did start picking up around 7 AM.. That was all she wrote..My allergies started kicking in...Sneezing, Coughing, Eyes watering...OMG it was killing me. Needless to say didn't see anything (Imagine That).. Been taking Claritin for 2 weeks now so this would not happen...Now I'm up to 3 pills today just to stop the sneezing.. May take one more before I go back out this afternoon

Saturday afternoon hunt was a waste...I didn't last for more than 2 hours..The wind was up and the Pollen was flying from the Ragweed & Goldenrod..

Looks like I will be calling a Doc in the Morn to see if there is something stronger than what I have been taking...

If not, my bow season is done till we get some rain or frost..
