Hunt in Oklahoma?

Postby donpablo » Fri Sep 25, 2009 3:59 pm

I’m posting this property for my dad. I know there are a lot of Texans that hunt OK and so I felt there might be interest. Below is the description as well as a link to a satellite image of the place on google and a link to the resort’s web site:

502528. FALCONHEAD (LOVE CO., OK) 1 lot. GATED COMMUNITY! This property has road access on Yukon Drive, and is less than one mile south of the Country Club! Falconhead is a resort community with an 18-hole championship golf course, a swimming pool, and lighted tennis courts. There is also an airport that has a 4,400-foot asphalt runway. Falconhead is a peaceful community in the Red River Valley that has plenty of natural beauty, fresh air, and expansive landscapes. This property is subject to an annual Property Owners Association fee of $216

My Dad's looking into the size of the lot and whether or not it has water or electricity and I'll post up as soon as he knows. I did find another map that shows which lot it is on the area and I'll post it here if I can. I also mapped it and found it to be 20-30 miles from public hunting on the Love Valley WMA. I'll post a link to the WMA as well.

Water and electricity are available but not currently hooked up as those lots are undeveloped. He was told that there are lines near by and that everything can be hooked up for a small fee. Heard from a fellow Texan who knows people in OK who said the WMA I mentioned has a lot of hogs and some good whitetails too. Feel free to post up any questions and I'll do my best to get answers.

My dad is looking to sell for $4,000 OBO. If financing is an issue, he’s willing to do so himself for $1,000 down on a 2-year note at 10% interest. All those interested please call him at (915) 373-4952 or e-mail him: pauldavila8@hotmail.com. Thanks.
