Well I gave it my best covered lots of miles the Elk were far and few I was the only one in the group of 5 that even saw elk and that was a total of 3 and 1 of those was before daylight on the road. seems from talking to a local hunter most of the Elk have already moved to the alfalfa fields and out of the mountains without the snow to push them, there was hardly any grass left and all the young aspen and willows were ate off also. we did leave 1 day early because the forecast was calling for 5 feet of snow....
