New Product...

Postby Snipe » Thu Aug 09, 2007 10:30 pm

New product this fall is the Texas-Hunters Hunting Systems timer

I have been working with a manufacture in China to build these. They are almost finished, and will be shipped to me within a week to week and a half.

You will not find a Digital Programmable Timer on the market lower in price than this one.

I will be needing a few of you to test drive some of them for me. I would like to have feed back on how well they work.

They will operate with 6 or 12 volt systems. I have tested them with 18V Dewalt batteries as well...

Here is what they look like..

And the timer instructions...

TIMER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. CONNECT BATTERY LEADS.

2. SET CURRENT TIME BY PRESSING THE DESIGNATED “HOUR” AND “MINUTE” BUTTONS.

3. BRIEFLY PRESS AND RELEASE THE “MENU” BUTTON TO DISPLAY “SPIN” (1-6). PRESS “HOUR” AND “MINUTE” BUTTONS TO SET DESIRED “SPIN” ALARM.

4. PRESS AND RELEASE “MENU” BUTTON AGAIN TO DISPLAY THE ASSOCIATED “SPINTIME” (1-6). USE “HOUR” AND “MINUTE” BUTTONS TO SET “SPIN TIME” (0-30 SECONDS).

5. REPEAT STEPS 3 AND 4 FOR SETTING ADDITIONAL SPIN CYCLES. IMPORTANT NOTE: FOR SIMPLICITY OF “MENU” NAVIGATION, THE DEFAULT SETTING FOR “SPINS” IS SET TO “OFF”. THIS RESULTS IN “SPIN” (4-6) BEING HIDDEN. ENABLING “SPIN3” WILL UNHIDE “SPIN4” ONLY. EACH SUBSEQUENT “SPIN” MUST BE ENABLED TO MAKE ALL 6 “SPIN” CYCLES AVAILABLE.

MOTOR SPEED CONTROL

1. PRESS AND HOLD THE “MENU” BUTTON UNTIL “MOTOR SPEED” IS DISPLAYED. USE ‘HOUR” AND “MINUTE” BUTTONS TO SELECT DESIRED MOTOR SPEED. AVAILABLE SPEED SELECTIONS ARE ‘LOW”, “MID” & “HI”.

SYSTEM TEST

1. PRESS AND HOLD “MENU” BUTTON UNTIL “PUSH HR FOR TEST” IS DISPLAYED. PRESS THE “HOUR” BUTTON TO BEGIN TESTING SEQUENCE. (WARING: MOTOR DISCHARGES FEED AT HIGH VELOCITY!)

CLEAR MEMORY

1. PRESS AND HOLD ALL BUTTONS FOR 5 SECONDS TO RESET ALL FEED TIMES

Those are cool Snipe, If we used feeders I would let ya hook me up, but here in Ohio we are surrounded by crop so we don't need or use them.

I can get you fixed up TT.. As soon as my Bank gets there heads out of there but.. Its been 3 weeks since they wired the money...put in the wrong information 2 times...Now they have a recall from last Thursday because the bank in China will not accept it due to the 2 changes. So When the money gets back, they will re submit a new form with the correct info.. Then it takes 24 hours to clear the banks...They will ship then..
